The Sapphires is an inspirational film following an Australian-Aboriginal-girl-group in the sixties who are “discovered” by a drunk Irish manager. With stars in their eyes the foursome ventures forth from a difficult-to-pronounce remote mission to war-ravaged Vietnam to perform for U.S. troops.
