What to do in Toronto: November 28 – December 4

Monday the 28th: Learning about cinema continues at the JCC with The Making and Unmaking of Genre Film: Comedy.

Tuesday the 29th: Art Rental + Sales Gallery Collector’s Series with Jeanne Beker opens at AGO and runs til  December 16th. Take part in a colossal cookie exchange and schmooze in holiday cheer at the Hip and Urban Girl’s Guide’s Cookies and Champagne party at Arta Gallery.

Wednesday the 30th: World AIDS Day: Healing and Hope through the Arts with Stephen Lewis Foundation takes place at Hart House (doors open at 5:30pm, rsvp to ccanzius@stephenlewsifoundation.org)


Thursday the 1st: Roller Derby World Cup begins at The Bunker at Downsview Park.

Friday the 2nd: Holiday wine and cheese with live music and holiday decorating tips at the Gardiner Museum at 5:30pm.

Saturday the 3rd: The opera Rodelina will be broadcast live into select Cineplex theatres. After you get your culture on, get your Santa hat on and head downtown for the Santa Crawl which begins at Global Village Backpackers at 8pm.

Sunday the 4th: Check out the Roller Derby World Cup finals at The Bunker at Downsview Park.
