Summer Pasture

An interesting documentary depicting a slice of a dying way. It seems the world over nomadic lifestyles are ceasing as more and more are settling, Tibet is no exception. Summer Pasture looks at one family in eastern Tibet and captures the trials and tribulations. There’s no editorializing, but through their own words and the visuals it is apparent what a tough life it is to lead. Day to day seems to be a struggle….though it’s not a life void of laughter. A great film to check out to see the beautiful scenery and learn about a difficult lifestyle that has had minimal exposure.
