What to do in Toronto October 10 – 16

Monday the 10th: The Cameron House begins a week of 30th Anniversary celebrations! Check out what Nadia has to say about it!

Tuesday the 11th: First day back from a Turkey-coma filled weekend, give yourself and your stomach time to relax!

Wednesday the 12th: There’s a whole slew of things happening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox this eve! The environmental film festival, Planet in Focus, kicks off with the doc Revenge of the Electric Car and National Parks Project: Standing Wave both play at 7pm and there’s a talk relating to the costume exhibit, From Concept to Reality: Creating an extraordinary creature called Dren, also at 7pm.

Thursday the 13th: Feel like a free lunch time performance? Check out the  COC free dance series‘s Eight Ways from Mara at noon at the Four Seasons Centre. In the evening, turn on the telly to catch Inside the Cirque, a behind the scenes look at Cirque du Soleil on CBC at 9pm.

Friday the 14th: Dance the night away for a good cause at Boobyball at Andrew Richard Designs.

Saturday the 15th: There are a bunch of bands playing this Sat: Hollerado at Opera House, Joseph Murray at Studio 835 as part of the Bloor Folk Festival, Toy Piano Composers: Avant Guitars: Works for Electric Guitar Quartet at Gallery 345, and Black Belt Jones at Pour House.

Sunday the 16th: Foodstock: Chef Michael Stadtlander and 70 of Canada’s best chefs cook with the produce of Melancthon Township in an outdoor, PWYC, public food event in solidarity with the movement to Stop the Mega Quarry.
