What to do in Toronto: September 19-25

Monday the 19th: Have a quiet night in in front of the boob tube and check out Charlie Sheen Roast on Comedy Network.

Tuesday the 20th: “This is our house!” TFC take on Tauro FC at 8pm at BMO Field.

Wednesday the 21st: A new theatrical play called Spring Awakening opens at the Lower Ossington Theatre.

Thursday the 22nd: Start getting in the mood at one of the many Toronto Beer Week festivities taking place around the city before checking out the Toronto Firefighter Calendar Launch at XS Nightclub at 8pm.

Friday the 23rd: Dress up as your fave pop star and party it up at one of the fun-est charity events of the year: Artbound’s The pARTy at Maison.

Saturday the 24th: If you’re feeling in the musical mood there are two great local bands performing: The Beauties at Lee’s Palace and Hooded Fang at Academy of Lions. Or if you’re feeling more filmy check out as the Reel Asian Film Festival kicks off with free screening of White on Rice at Underground Cinema at 7pm.

Sunday the 25th: Hear legendary Canadian musician Jim Cuddy in his Now Talks at the Drake Hotel at 6pm.
