What to do in Toronto September 5 – 11

Monday the 5th: Head to Yonge and Dundas Square to inject some Brazil into your Canada Day long weekend at Brazilian Day Canada.

Tuesday the 6th:  The 50th anniversary edition of The Gutenberg Galaxy is  officially launching at the Gladstone Hotel at 7:30pm (Doors 7pm).

Wednesday the 7th: Paul McEwan and Noel S Baker in conversation at “Bruce McDonald’s Hard Core Logo” Launch takes place at The Garrison at 7:30pm. Then swing over to The Rivoli around 10:30 pm to hear pop musical performance by Mark Munroe.

Thursday the 8th:  Nerd Nite – with presentations on A look at more of your favourite Heritage Minutes: “A Lot of $#!? Went Down in Manitoba”, Fuel Hacking (Return of the Loblaws Homebrewer), That Drug Does What? goes down at TRANZAC at 8pm.

Friday the 9th: onexone pancake breakfast @ Diesel flagship store @ 7:30am

Saturday the 10th: During the day head to College and Spadina for a massive Block Party. Then if you’re able to grab tickets, try to go to the onexone event with Lupe Fiasco, Kardinall Offishall and Melanie Fiona at Koolaus at 9pm.

Sunday the 11th: Spend a relaxing day avoiding star-seekers out at the Beaches for The Beach Celtic Festival. You can catch Irish and Scottish
