NYC in 3: II

new york city

(s)eating area

After a very full Friday, Saturday was way more low key. A slow start with and a late brunch brought us to this odd automated eatery. Instead of interacting with human beings, you placed your order and paid on a computer and you waited until you were notified by text that your order’s ready.

I opted for dim sum…and…um…not super yum…but it was a’ight.

duck bun....was more like a burger...

The afternoon was taken up with a long walk to and through Central Park…then a much needed nap. The small snacky meal theme continued into the evening where we had a fabulous dinner at Danji for Korean tapas. OMG! The bulgogi beef sliders were amazing! So was the stir fried vermicelli and paoched sablefish with spicy daikon. This restaurant is for sure a repeat.

The only thing left was a nightcap at The Standard in the Meatpacking district and then a good night’s sleep.
